I have been doing some couponing since I have been an at home mom. This is a deal that I couldn’t pass up. I use two websites for couponing that are local to the Boise area. Both of the links can be found on the side bar of my blog. Fabulessly Frugal and Krazy Coupon Lady.
Even though I am using cloth diapers during the day. I still use disposables during the night and when we are out and about, so I am always looking for ways to save.
Here is how I got six packs of Huggies diapers for .52 cents
I have been collecting coupons through the newspaper and registered at Huggies.com and they send you coupons periodically. So far they have sent me three batches of coupons. This last batch had two $3.00 off coupons. Usually the coupons are only $1.50 off which I have some of.
Rite Aid also has three rebates this month that apply to Huggies diapers.
1. Rebate #53 $2.00 back
2. Rebate #800 Buy any five packs of Huggies, receive a coupon for a 6th pack of diapers free.
3. Kimberly Clark Rebate: Purchase $50 worth of participating products and receive a $25 Rite Aid gift card

They also have two other promotion right now.
1. When you transfer a prescription to Rite Aid you receive a $25 gift card. I got one of these gift cards when I recently got Daisylyn’s reflux medication.
2. $5.00 off $25.00 purchase at Rite Aid. This coupon is found at coupons.com. Technically I could have done my purchase in two transactions and used two of these coupons and would have made money ($4.48) in the end. I didn’t check my coupons close enough and I had expired coupons. I luckily had printed another one the day prior to my big purchase so I was able to still use one.
One more thing this week the mega packs of diapers are on sale for $14.99 rather than $18.99.
So here is how I did it…..
3 packs at $11.49 =34.47
2 packs at $14.99 =29.98
Total 64.45
- $10.50 in coupons
- $5.00 off $25.00 coupon
$52.52 including tax

I have coupons for those that I will not use if you are interested in them I can send them your way. I will also talk you through it if you need help. The rebate only took 30 seconds online.

Another really good local coupon/deal site is Discount Queens. There are several people in my ward who post to this. The button is on my blog. Check them out.
Good job on the diaper deal.
OOps. the diapers that are $14.99 are not on the rebate for the buy five get one free. I emailed my mistake to Riteaid, and they gave it to me anyway!! :0)
