Cloth Diapers: Day Two

What I have learned in my second day of cloth diapering.....

1. When going on outings, don't forget to stock the diaper bag with plastic bags for the soiled diapers.

2. So far the diapers I have are leaky. The cloth diaper must be completly covered and well in the diaper cover. Even with that she has leaked nearly every diaper change. I don't mind using them yet, but hopefully we can get the leakage under control.

I have another type of diaper that I purchased. So for the next 24 hours we are going to try these diapers out:

Fuzzy Bunz Pocket Style Diaper. It has the same PUL covering, snaps to fasten and an absorbant liner made of microfiber. The inner part of the diaper is made of fleece. Daisylyn has had it on for an hour now and so far so good. I hope they are not as leaky.

Here are the specs from their website:

The FuzziBunz® One-Size Diapers are the most adjustable and innovative one-size cloth diapers on the market today! Adjust the diapers to fit babies 7-35 pounds and get a snug fit every time with the button-adjusted waist and leg casings. The leg casings adjust to 8+ settings and the waist adjusts to 4+ settings. Never before has a pocket-style cloth diaper been SO adjustable!
And the great thing about FuzziBunz® is that they always use sturdy snap closures which will withstand 3+ years of use and elastic that is easily replaceable if it ever fails making it a long standing and dependable diapering system for years to come.

I am so impressed! I am wishing right now that there were panties that were re-usable, that don't leak...for potty training.
