(I am not sure why I am bending my knees!)
Baby’s Room….
As the nature of the beast goes, I take time off work and all contractions seem to stop for that day. I made a list of things that needed to be done and started getting to work. I started in the baby’s room. I had put off getting it cleaned up and it was still a storage room for boxes I didn’t know what to do with. I started in the baby’s closet and cleared out all of Brinton’s clothes and moved them to the office closet after hanging a new rod.
I also worked on getting the “changing table” ready and a book shelf cleared off so I can use it for storage.
I laundered all of the cloth diapers I have collected and practiced folding the diapers on a doll. We are starting off with disposables, but I am also going to supplement with cloth diapers as time goes on. I have a few different kinds I am trying and I am sure I will share how that goes when the time comes.
Cleaning….
I have worked on getting the house a bit cleaner. This last month has been best month for me health wise, it has been a great. I still haven’t had enough time to get caught up cleaning around the house. So I steam mopped the tile floors dry mopped the wood floor and vacuumed the carpet. I got a little bit of other cleaning done too.
Exercise…..
For the longest time, even just a brief walk would give me contractions. So I spend many months not moving much. So the first thing I did Friday morning was hop on the elliptical and get moving. No results in getting things moving. I also went to the mall and walked the whole place and window shopped. No luck.
Gardening…
(More to soon Come about gardening)
Worked on weeding our two raised beds as well as planted seeds inside.
So I have tried to keep myself moving in hopes to get me contracting again and moving into labor. I have had several mild contractions, but nothing kicking me into labor. I have many things keeping me busy, which is great. But we sure do hope this baby comes soon.
