We are now 34 weeks along. I am happy to say that I have hit a benchmark today. It may seem small in some peoples eyes, but I have gone two weeks without throwing up. A wonderful and great blessing. I have come close to two weeks a few times, but since I have been six weeks pregnant, this is the longest I have gone with out throwing up. I have entered a new phase, Wahoo!! My goal is no more re-visitation of my food for the rest of my pregnancy.
The newest pregnancy woes... Heartburn. I can't even drink water in the middle of the night without having a few TUMS to keep the acid from crawling back up. A new adventure I must say. Much, much better than throwing up. I still have to take anti-nausea pills and digestive enzymes, but it is so worth being able to eat most all foods (except chocolate for some crazy reason).
Last night Brinton and I took the Breastfeeding for Beginners class through the hospital. Another pre-baby prep thing to check off the list. It turns out we were the only couple that showed up for the class, so we had a nice little private session. Kind of hard to get out of asking questions when you are the only ones there taking the class.
My belly is getting so tight. I woke up early this morning and little baby girl Croff found a nice warm cozy spot under my ribs, she has been there all day. A bit uncomfortable, but fun to feel her little bum sticking out. It left me rubbing my belling and grimacing most of the day. It had one of my coworkers asking if everything was alright. All is well, just things getting tight in there. Bending beyond a 45 degree angle is getting challenging and uncomfortable. At work I have been getting the kids more involved in helping me pick up things from the floor. I spend much of my day working on the floor with the kids, it is getting harder and harder to maneuver.
Tomorrow we are headed on a little road trip to Rexburg for Brinton's cousins wedding. Honestly the past week or two have been the best for me energy wise in this pregnancy. I am so grateful!! I hope my body cooperates with the lengthy drive.
Tomorrow is also my 31st Birthday. I have to say the past year has been the most adventurous ever! I have experienced so much LIFE! Here I am nearly a mother, I am so blessed.
It is nice to be feeling better, it helps me see the world in a better light. My mind spins.....I have been dreaming about how it will be when I am able to stay home with our little baby.... the garden I hope to get planted, researching how to take a better photograph/portrait, beginning to read books again, completing all of the paperwork stacked up at school that is going quite well at this point. It is amazing how one's brain can buzz when they start feeling semi-normal.
Now if it would just begin to stay spring like, so the birds and the rest of us wouldn't be so confused. Woke up to snow this morning and I have been chilly for the past five hours since I got off work. I can't wait for the green to return!! I love spring.

Unfortunately Amber spoke too soon. The day after composing this post, she threw up.........................
Oh no..... Sorry you puked again. but I am so happy you are feeling better! I can't believe your baby is coming so soon, I'm jealous! Heartburn is so fun, my troubles now are my hips, they hurt so bad sometimes I can't walk! Ahh, the joys of pregnancy...
Amber, yes! A big congrats even if it was short lived. I'm glad you are getting a little energy before baby comes. You'll need plenty of it for all that nesting. I also can't believe your girl is almost here! Enjoy the last few busy days!
